Marycarmen Rubi

Marycarmen Rubi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marycarmen began their career as an Intern at Walt Disney World in 2012. Following that, they worked as a Business Center Agent & Executive Administrative Assistant at Westin Hotels & Resorts for a year. In 2015, they joined Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts as a Front Desk Agent and gradually climbed the ladder to become the Room Division Manager. Marycarmen then transitioned to Holiday Inn Express as the General Manager, where they received several accolades for their outstanding performance, including the Operational Award in 2018 and the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2019. After their tenure at Holiday Inn Express, they joined WeWork as a Senior Community Lead and worked there until 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Travel Designer at Essentialist, starting in 2023.

Marycarmen Rubi's education history includes a variety of experiences in different fields of study. In 2012-2013, they completed an academic internship for the Disney International College Program at Central Michigan University. During this time, they focused on the Department of Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services Administration. From 2009 to 2013, Marycarmen pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the Universidad del Valle de México, with a specialization in Tourism and Travel Services Management. Marycarmen also holds a Certificate in Hotel Operations from the Glion Institute of Higher Education, although the specific dates for this certification are not provided.
