George Ratcliffe

George Ratcliffe is an experienced technology operations leader with a robust background in ICT service delivery. Currently serving as Head of Technology Operations at Essex County Council since September 2023, George previously held the position of Head of Operations for ICT Services at London Borough of Lambeth, where responsibilities included developing the ICT strategy and managing operational teams. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Director at Intercity Technology Ltd, overseeing 24x7 service delivery, and leading the operations team at Imerja Limited. George also has a strong procurement and logistics background from Logicalis UK, as well as management experience at Satelcom and Galileo UK. George holds a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University.
