Pia W. has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Pia started their career as a Personnel Assistant at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in 1997. Pia then worked at BLC Consulting as the Director of Human Resources from 2001 to 2009. Pia then joined Essex Management, LLC as the Director of Client Relations from 2009 to 2011.

Afterward, they worked as an HR Business Partner at Raytheon, supporting an Engineering organization, from 2011 to 2013. Pia then became the Human Resources Director at The Medical Team, where they were responsible for creating and implementing HR strategy, from 2013 to 2015.

Pia then worked as a Senior HR Consultant at Smart HR, Inc from 2015 to 2016. Following that, they served as an HR Director at SPARGO, Inc from 2016 to 2018, where they contributed at both hands-on and strategic levels and oversaw various HR functions.

Their most recent role was as an HR Business Partner at Dev Technology Group, Inc from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Pia is the Human Resources Director at Essex Management, LLC, a position they have held since December 2019.

Pia W. obtained their MBA in Management & Marketing from the University of Connecticut School of Business in 2007. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut and earned a BA degree in English in 1998. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 2012. Additionally, they achieved the SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in 2015.
