Nathan Adkins

Nathan Adkins is an experienced professional currently serving as the Vice President of Research & Analytics at Essex Property Trust since July 2023. Prior to this role, Nathan held positions at CBRE from May 2018 to July 2023 as both a Senior Economist and Economist. A freelance Statistical/Economic Consultant from August 2012 to July 2023, Nathan conducted various analyses for a diverse range of clients, including projects focused on forecasting family physician production and conducting cost-benefit analyses in education. Nathan's academic background includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington from 2015 to 2018 and at the University of Colorado from June 2013 to June 2015, where quantitative analysis and forecasting were key responsibilities. Nathan also brings experience from Edison State Community College, where roles included Coordinator of Mathematics & Physics and Associate Professor of Mathematics. Nathan earned a PhD (ABD) in Statistics from the University of Washington and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
