Birgitta Sama is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in brand innovation and communications. Currently serving as the Global Brand Innovation leader at Essity since August 2012, Birgitta has been instrumental in driving growth for TENA, the top global incontinence care brand, through innovative product development and impactful marketing strategies. Previous roles include Brand Manager at SCA AfH Professional Hygiene, where Birgitta led successful product launches, and Director of Brand Marketing & Global Communications at Sculptz, overseeing corporate branding and communications across multiple regions. With earlier experience as Director of Creative Services and Creative Brand Director, Birgitta has a documented history of enhancing brand presence and achieving revenue growth through strategic initiatives. Birgitta holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Moore College of Art and Design and has pursued further education at NYU School of Professional Studies and Drexel University's Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.
