About The Role:

As our new APAC Medical Science Liaison Specialist you will be the company's scientific and medical education expert, acting as the key link between key opinion leaders and Establishment Labs.

In this role, you will be working closely with the Commercial Team including Sales, Marketing and cross-functional team members including Clinical Affairs, Compliance, Research & Development. You will be focused on peer-to-peer HCP education and expected to:

  • Educate key clinicians about our products, be the product expert

  • Answer their scientific questions about our products

  • Identify, develop and manage all aspects of Key Opinion Leaders (Surgeons, OR Nurse etc.)

  • Create Regional Medical Education programs to include hands on labs, whitepapers, webinars, podium presentations etc., aligned with strategy

  • Work with Medical Affairs for appropriate KOL presentations

  • Stay knowledgeable about studies in our product space

  • Monitor competitive programs and studies and know how to communicate them

  • Feed key information back to colleagues in commercial functions, such as marketing and sales, to inform their strategies.

  • Provide clinicians with accurate and balanced information about specific

Your Responsabilities:

  • Build and identifying processes to complete complex educational objectives

  • Creates and strategy for execution of Regional Medical Education using KOLs

  • Runs point on assigned primary product efforts in collaboration with peers and partners

  • Acquire and develop product knowledge expertise of ESTA product portfolio and a sound understanding of aesthetic and reconstructive breast procedures

  • Identify leading influential experts in fields of medicine or research relevant to the products, e.g., senior physicians and professors along with regional Key Opinion Leaders.

  • Builds strong relationships with key industry partners

  • Manages KOL database, ensuring all information is up to date and accurate

  • Build peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs, be their source for ESTA information

  • Provide medical and scientific information to respond to KOLs' technical questions about Motiva Implants® and other surgical techniques related to branded surgery procedures

  • Lead meetings with KOLs to discuss relevant scientific literature and address their enquiries

  • Make educational presentations to different segments of the medical community as needed

  • Support Advisory Board meetings for new and current products as needed

  • Manage programs/projects from start to finish

  • Understand our business model to support discussions with KOLs

  • Respond to scientific enquiries from distributors and internal colleagues

  • Gather information from KOLs as to how they are using our products and the competitors

  • Feed information back to marketing and sales colleagues to help develop marketing materials and commercial strategy

  • Develop and deliver scientific training courses to other staff members and international distributors

  • Keep up to date with the latest scientific research and clinical data relevant to the field

  • Stay compliant with all industry standards with regards to interactions with HCPs and ACCME guidelines

  • Provides monthly report regarding key activities, accomplishments, and upcoming projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum Advanced Degree (preferably RPh, PharmD, MS, DO, MSN, PA, NP)

  • 5 years in medical device industry

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the operating room, preferably in breast surgery/breast aesthetics

  • 3 years of medical education and training experience required

  • Prior sales experience ideal

  • Hands on and proactive attitude

  • Ability to manage all administrative tasks in a timely manner

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively as required

  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English, knowledge in Mandarin Chinese is a plus
