Karen Arce

Karen Arce has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Karen worked at Establishment Labs starting in 2018, where they held multiple roles, including Business Excellence Manager and Product Development & Innovation Manager. In their role as Business Excellence Manager, their responsibilities included promoting a culture of continuous improvement, conducting training, and creating a roadmap for business excellence. Prior to that, Karen worked at Bridgestone from 2009 to 2018, where they held various positions such as Area Business Manager, Section Manager, Product Development Engineer/Six Sigma Black Belt, and Process Engineer. In these roles, they focused on implementing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, creating product specifications, improving product performance, and ensuring process capability. Overall, Karen has a strong background in product development, innovation, business excellence, and continuous improvement.

Karen Arce completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, spanning from 2003 to 2009. In 2011, they obtained a certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Bridgestone, and in 2012, they earned a certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, also from Bridgestone. In 2016, they pursued a Specialization in Management Skills from Aden Business School, which they completed in 2017. Later that year, Karen obtained their Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from PXS & ASQ.
