Mikkel Højland

Mikkel Højland has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Mikkel began their career as a Tjener at Cafe Satchmo in 2012, followed by a role as a Phoner at Hjerteforeningen in 2014. In 2015, they took on a Business Developer role at IT Minds, where they built and managed their own client portfolio worth ~ 750.000 DKK/Month. In 2017, they became a Partner at Octo Data, a data-sharing solution designed to let companies access relevant personal data in accordance with GDPR. Mikkel's responsibilities included defining the business model and commercial strategy, developing the product roadmap, and driving sales and partnerships. In 2019, they became the Head of Growth at Whyyy, where they were responsible for commercial strategy formulation and execution, management of the sales team, and running partnerships with law firms, investment firms, and asset management firms. Finally, in 2020, they became the Co-Founder and COO, as well as the Co-founder and Product Lead at Estaid.

Mikkel Højland obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Philosophy from the Copenhagen Business School between 2017 and 2020. Prior to that, they attended Roskilde Gymnasium from 2012 to 2015, where they earned an STX in Erhvervsøkonomi, engelsk, fysik og matematik. From 2011 to 2012, they attended Flakkebjerg Efterskole, where they completed 10th grade with a focus in Science. Mikkel also attended Roskilde Private Realskole from 2008 to 2011. In 2021, they obtained a Certified Product Manager (CPM) certification from Product Focus.
