Morten Esbensen

Morten Esbensen has extensive work experience in the field of software development. Morten is currently working as a Lead Software Developer at Estaid since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Jayway from August 2017 to February 2021, where they held the positions of Android Team Lead and Software Specialist. Before joining Jayway, Morten worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the IT University of Copenhagen from September 2015 to June 2017. Morten also gained experience as a Student Programmer at the same university from April 2009 to September 2011. Overall, Morten Esbensen has a strong background in software development and leadership roles in the industry.

Morten Esbensen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Software Development at IT-Universitetet i København from 2007 to 2010. Morten then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Software Development and Technology at the same institution from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, Morten Esbensen had an opportunity to be a Visiting Researcher in Human Computer Interaction at the University of Saskatchewan. Lastly, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Software Development from IT-Universitetet i København from 2011 to 2015.
