Rakesh Kumar

Rakesh Kumar is an experienced supply chain and manufacturing leader with a strong background in various sectors, including beauty and consumer goods. Currently serving as Vice President for Manufacturing and Supply Chain at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., Rakesh manages logistics for the Asia-Pacific region and provides leadership across several affiliates. Prior roles include Senior Director of Supply Chain at COTY INC, overseeing supply chain operations for the Professional Beauty Division in multiple regions, and various leadership positions at Procter & Gamble where Rakesh spearheaded significant supply chain initiatives, including the startup of a globally supplying purification plant. Rakesh began the professional journey at Asian Paints as a Distribution Executive and has a solid educational foundation, holding a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
