Sebastian Hochman

Sebastian Hochman has extensive work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field. Sebastian most recently served as the Global Head of Medical Affairs at ESTEVE starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at El Grupo Grünenthal as the Regional Medical Director for Latin America from 2018 to 2022. Before that, they held the position of Oncology Medical Lead for Pfizer in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay from 2016 to 2018. Sebastian also worked at Biogen as the Medical Director for Latin America South from 2012 to 2016, Associate Director of Medical Affairs in Argentina from 2011 to 2012, and Senior Clinical Research Manager for Latin America from 2009 to 2011. Sebastian began their career at ICON plc as an Associate Medical Director for Latin America from 2006 to 2009, and prior to that, they served as a Lead CRA from 2003 to 2006.

Sebastian Hochman has a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Buenos Aires, which they obtained between 1990 and 1996. Sebastian also pursued further specialization, completing a program in Urology from the Argentinean Health Ministry from 1997 to 2001. In 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Specialist in Pharmaceutical Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires. Sebastian also participated in the Directors Development Program at Biogen from 2011 to 2013. Lastly, they attended the Medical Affairs Leadership Academy at McKinsey & Co, USA, from 2014 to 2015.
