Marcel Garon

Marcel Garon has a diverse range of work experience. Marcel currently works at Esusu as the Partnerships Director, where they focus on rental payment reporting to three major credit bureaus. Prior to this role, Marcel was the Partnerships Lead at Esusu. In addition to their work at Esusu, Marcel is an Investor at Euclid Power.

Previously, Marcel worked at The NRP Group as a Development Associate, where they managed project teams and wrote proposals for affordable housing projects in New York City. Marcel also served as an Assistant Developer at The NRP Group, where they conducted market research and analyzed housing development opportunities.

Before joining The NRP Group, Marcel worked as a Financial Analyst, Investments and Acquisitions at JBG SMITH, a real estate company focused on mixed-use properties in the Washington, DC area.

Marcel has also held various positions during their time at the Urban Studies Undergraduate Advisory Board and interned at Propeller: A Force for Social Innovation, a nonprofit supporting social innovation in New Orleans.

Marcel Garon attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2015, where they graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Urban Studies. Marcel concentrated in Community Economic Development. During their time at the university, Marcel also pursued minors in American Public Policy and Urban Real Estate & Development through The Wharton School. Prior to attending university, Marcel attended Ben Franklin High School in New Orleans, although no specific dates or degrees are provided for this period.
