Barry Haughey

Barry Haughey has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Barry currently holds the position of Director of Procurement at ESW since October 2023, and prior to that, they were the Head of Procurement at the same company starting from March 2020.

Before joining ESW, Barry worked at Norbrook Laboratories Ltd from April 2015 to January 2020, where they served as the Head of Procurement. Prior to that, they held the role of Commercial Finance Manager at Norbrook Laboratories Ltd from June 2007 to March 2015.

Barry's earlier experience includes working as a Finance Manager at Craigavon Area Hospital Group Trust from June 2004 to June 2007, and as a Senior Internal Auditor at Belfast Education and Library Board from October 2002 to June 2004.

Their career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers in October 1999, where they worked as an Accountant until October 2002.

Barry Haughey obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting from Queen's University Belfast in 1998. Barry further pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting at the same university in 1998-1999. Barry then went on to complete their Associate Chartered Accountant degree from Chartered Accountants Ireland between 2002 and 2012. Finally, they obtained the highest level of qualification, becoming a Fellow Chartered Accountant at Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2012 to 2020.
