Gary Holmes

Gary Holmes, PE has over 16 years of experience in the field of fire protection engineering. Gary is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at ETG FIRE, INC. since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at APS FireCo from 2015 to 2022, holding roles such as Director of Special Hazards and Alarms and Design/Engineering Manager. From 2013 to 2015, Gary worked as a Fire Protection Engineer at Hilti. Before that, they gained valuable experience as a Project Engineer and Associate Project Engineer at Underwriters Laboratories Inc from 2007 to 2013. Gary started their career as an Engineering Technician at SGS U.S. Testing, Inc in 2005.

Gary Holmes, PE has a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection and Safety Technology from Oklahoma State University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Gary later pursued a Master of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completing it from 2010 to 2017. Additionally, they are a certified Professional Engineer by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure and holds certifications as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist by the National Fire Protection Association and a Graduate Safety Practitioner by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
