Hui Lin Chiew

Hui Lin Chiew is the Project lead at Etherisc. Hui has over two years of experience in leading inclusive insurance development initiatives. Hui was the policy lead and project manager for inclusive insurance development initiatives at Bank Negara Malaysia. Hui is also the architect of the Perlindungan Tenang (inclusive insurance) regulatory framework. Hui has reviewed product applications and developed consumer education material. Hui has also worked with industry practitioners and internal technical and communications teams to launch the Perlindungan Tenang initiative nationwide in 2017, which now reaches over 1 million people.

Hui Lin Chiew holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, where they graduated with First-Class Honours. Hui also holds Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Levels from Raffles Junior College.

Hui Lin Chiew has received certification from GIZ, SEB and the Partnership for Action on Green Economy in Introduction to Sustainable Finance. Hui has also received certification from LinkedIn Learning in Agile Product Owner Role: Techniques, edX in edX Verified Certificate for Evaluating Social Programs, and the Chartered Insurance Institute in Certificate in Insurance.
