Gregory Treleaven

Gregory Treleaven has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Gregory started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Oceaneering Space Systems from 2004 to 2006, where they independently developed and executed test procedures for NASA Tile Repair Tools. Gregory also designed test equipment and prepared Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (FMEA) reports.

Gregory then worked as a Quality Engineer at WellDynamics from 2007 to 2011, where they participated in and led Lean / Six Sigma Kaizen events, led Root Cause and Corrective Action efforts, and developed a Non-Conformance Database for tracking discrepancies.

From 2011 to 2017, Gregory worked at Greene, Tweed & Co. Their roles included Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. As a Quality Engineer, they developed and implemented database architecture for automated customer contract review and the flow-down of requirements. Gregory also managed ISO9001 and AS9100 certification programs and the Material Review Board process. As a Quality Supervisor, they supervised a team and handled special projects as needed. As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, they managed strategic cross-company projects and supported the company's objectives.

In 2017, Gregory took a break from their career and worked as a Home School Educator, where they taught math, science, and engineering concepts to their children while traveling the country. Gregory planned to transition to a position closer to their passion for artificial intelligence.

Gregory then joined Olive in 2018 as a Machine Learning Engineer until 2023. In this role, they were involved in all phases of machine learning projects, including data gathering and cleaning, designing and implementing model architectures, and training and deploying models in production. Gregory worked on projects such as document classification, object detection, and anomaly detection. Gregory also created applications for data visualization.

Gregory's current work experience is at Ethermed, where they started in 2023 as a Machine Learning Engineer. No specific end date is provided for this role.

Gregory Treleaven has a diverse education history. Gregory pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating between the years 2000 and 2004. Following this, they attended the University of Washington in 2006 and 2007 to complete a Masters of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Returning to educational pursuits in 2017 and 2018, Gregory obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. Alongside their formal education, they also obtained an Advanced Python certification from LinkedIn in June 2020.
