Steffen Helmling

Steffen Helmling serves as the Chief Business Officer at etherna since June 2023, previously holding the same title at X-Chem, Inc. from May 2013 to June 2023, and also serving as Vice President of Business Development during that time. Steffen Helmling was a Board Member at Enko from July 2017 to April 2021, contributing to innovative solutions in agricultural challenges. Previous roles include Vice President of Business Development at PolyMedix, Inc. from November 2010 to April 2013, and Executive Vice President of Business Development at NOXXON Pharma from November 2006 to November 2010, along with being the VP of Business Development and Senior Scientist at NOXXON Pharma AG from March 2001 to October 2006. Steffen Helmling earned a PhD in RNA processing from Tufts University School of Medicine and holds an M.S. in cytochrome oxidase from Bowling Green State University as well as a Vordiplom in Biology from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
