Jawed Akbari

Jawed Akbari currently serves as the ECMP Manager at the African Community Center DC Metro and the Preferred Community Manager at the Ethiopian Community Development Council, Inc., both since 2023. Previous experience includes a role as Scheduling Coordinator at Furniture Experts Corporation and facilities management roles at AECOM SIKA EAST/USAID, where responsibilities encompassed operations, logistics, and maintenance supervision. Jawed Akbari also contributed as a Field Officer with the Danish Refugee Council and worked in communications for DAI, where tasks involved report drafting, media development, and event documentation. Jawed Akbari holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Kabul University.
