Mengistu Ayenew

Mengistu Ayenew is a dedicated professional with expertise in public health and epidemiology. Currently serving as a COVID-19 data manager at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute since June 2022, Mengistu previously held the role of COVID-19 Surveillance technical assistant at the same institution from September 2020 to June 2021. Additionally, Mengistu has been a lecturer at Mizan Tepi University since June 2019. Mengistu earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from Jimma University between 2017 and 2019.
