Arjan Schieven

Arjan Schieven has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Arjan is currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at Naturalis Biodiversity Center since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an ICT Delivery Manager at PGB Pensioendiensten from February 2019 to April 2021. Arjan also served as the General Manager at Systonics B.V. from March 2018 to February 2019 and as a Business Unit Manager at @Valley Services from February 2017 to March 2018. Moreover, they held the position of Manager IT-Infrastructure at MN from August 2013 to January 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director IT Infrastructure Services Benelux at Cognizant Technology Solutions from February 2012 to February 2013, as a Managing Consultant / Service Delivery Manager at Capgemini Outsourcing B.V. from December 2006 to February 2012, as the Owner of Inforce Europe BV from June 2005 to December 2006, as the CTO of DeskForce Europe B.V. from January 2003 to June 2005, and as the Manager Operations at Getronics from May 1999 to September 2003.

Arjan Schieven completed their education at various institutions. Arjan obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Nyenrode Business University from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente, graduating between 1981 and 1987. Arjan Schieven also attended Atheneum-B, although specific dates and credentials were not provided. In 2014 and 2015, they attended INSEAD to complete a Strategy Execution Programme.
