Bart Braun

Bart Braun is a seasoned professional in science communication and journalism with extensive experience. Currently serving as a Science Communication Officer at Naturalis Biodiversity Center since October 2020, Bart has also been active as a freelance science journalist since June 2005, contributing to notable publications such as Panorama, Duikmagazine, NWT, and NRC. Prior experience includes a role as a journalist for the University of Leiden's newspaper 'Mare' and freelance work for various other outlets from November 2005 to October 2020. Additionally, Bart co-founded Fijn Eten, a small party-catering company, during the years as a student from January 2004 to September 2005. Bart holds a degree in Biology and journalism from Utrecht University, completed in 2005.
