Gülin Çelen

Gülin ÇELEN's work experience begins in 2012 with an internship at VAKIF LEASING. In 2013, they also completed an internship at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. During their time at Dokuz Eylul University from 2011 to 2013, they served as the Head of the DEU Statistics Community and later as a Member of the Supervisory Board. From 2013 to 2018, Gülin worked at Yapı Kredi as an Individual Loans Underwriting Development Specialist, where they collaborated with various teams on projects related to loan and credit card evaluation strategies. Gülin then joined Turkcell Global Bilgi in 2018 and held roles as an Analytic Specialist, Analytic & Business Intelligence Senior Product Manager/Data Analyst, and Analytic & Business Intelligence Expert Product Manager/Data Analyst. Most recently, in 2022, Gülin joined Etiya as a Data Architect.

Gülin Çelen has a Master's degree in Data Science from Galatasaray Üniversitesi, which was obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Dokuz Eylul University, from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, Gülin attended St. Giles International Language School in London, where they studied English Language and Literature. In terms of certifications, Gülin obtained the following:

- Big Data And Business Analytics from Istanbul Technical University in October 2018.

- Capital Market Activities Level 2 License, Capital Market Activities Level 3 License, Credit Rating License, Derivative Instruments License, and Capital Market Activities Level 1 License from Capital Markets Licensing Registry and Training Agency Inc. in different years between 2015 and 2016.

Additionally, Gülin has completed the Nanodegree Program Machine Learning with TensorFlow from Udacity, and they are currently pursuing a Nanodegree Program in Data Architect, expected to be completed in 2023.
