Kerem Akbarcı

Kerem Akbarcı has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Kerem started their career in 1994 as an Electronic Technician at İnter Endüstriyel Elektronik and worked there until 1998. Kerem then worked as a Webmaster at İxir Internet from 2000 to 2001. Following that, they worked as a Web Flash Designer at 18 Reklam from 2001 to 2007.

From 2007 to 2010, Kerem worked as a Senior Web Developer at ReklamZ, where they were responsible for advert development, technical improvements on ad-servers, and frontend development of gamified web projects.

In 2010, Kerem moved on to Vidyoda A.Ş as a Senior Software Developer. In this role, they played an important part in the development of targeted advertising models in Turkey, HTML5 & Actionscript-based development of Vidyoda video player, and the development of Richmedia projects for clients.

From 2013 to 2016, Kerem worked as a Senior Software Developer at Ströer Digital, focusing on software development. Kerem then joined Özyurt A.Ş. in 2017 as a Full Stack Developer.

In 2017, Kerem took on the role of Information Technology Project Manager at ADNC, where they managed IT projects until 2018.

Currently, Kerem works at Etiya as a Team Leader and Principal Specialist in Software Development. Kerem leads teams and is responsible for UI/UX and frontend development for Etiya Digital Interaction Management, which provides social listening and proactive channel management for companies on social media platforms.

Throughout their career, Kerem has shown expertise in various areas such as software development, web development, project management, and electronic technology.

Kerem Akbarcı started their education in 1991 at Alibeyköy Endüstri Meslek Lisesi, where they studied electronics until 1994. Later, they attended Suleyman Demirel University from 1998 to 2000, majoring in Computer Programming with a GPA of 4.7. In 2013, Kerem enrolled at Anadolu University to study History, and they are currently pursuing this field of study. In addition to their formal education, Kerem obtained certifications in User Experience (UX) Design from BlueMark Academy in October 2020 and in AI Fundamentals from TM Forum in September 2020.
