Samuel Shields

Samuel Shields has worked at Eton College since 2018, starting as a Biology Teacher and eventually becoming Acting Head of Biology. In September 2022, they became the Head of Biology. Prior to that, Samuel worked as a Biology Teacher at Stonyhurst College from 2016 to 2018.

Samuel Shields completed their education at various institutions. Samuel attended Clitheroe Royal Grammar School and Sixth Form from 2008 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General at The University of Manchester from 2010 to 2014. In 2015-2016, Samuel obtained a PGCE qualification in Education from Newcastle University. Currently, they are enrolled at The University of Edinburgh, where they are expected to complete their Master of Science degree in Digital Education from 2019 to 2023.
