Brent Hagany is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Etsy since April 2017, Brent contributed to the development and launch of Etsy's first official listings sales feature and enhanced team practices with React. Previous positions include serving as Chief Technology Officer at Goodsie, where Brent set technology goals, led the development of a real-time design platform, and managed remote development teams. Brent's earlier roles involved significant contributions at HiiDef Inc., Digital Fertilizer, Flavors.me, and WS Packaging Group, focusing on full-stack development and optimizing complex systems. Brent holds a BA from Bethel University, earned in 2002.
