Irina Kubinschi

Irina Kubinschi is a legal and policy professional with extensive experience in government affairs and public policy. Currently serving as the Manager for Government Affairs and Public Policy at MedTech Europe since January 2023, Kubinschi previously held the position of Senior Legal and Policy Officer at the Smoke Free Partnership from November 2018 to January 2023. Earlier roles include a Legal Policy Intern at the European Magazine Media Association and a Legal Intern at the European Newspaper Publishers Association. Additional experience involves training at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the EU, providing support on matters related to state aid and competition law. Kubinschi's career began as a Paralegal at Schönherr Rechtsanwalt after completing internships at Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in European Law from Leiden University and a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Bucharest.
