Colin Cramond

LEO Mission Control Systems Operations Engineer at EUMETSAT

Colin Cramond's work experience begins in 2005 when they joined Serco as an EUMETSAT Spacecraft Controller. Colin held this position until 2009 when they transitioned to the role of EUMETSAT Polar System Production Analyst. In 2011, Colin became an EUMETSAT Mission Control System Operations Engineer within Serco and continued in this position until 2016. In 2016, Colin joined CLC Space GmbH as an EUMETSAT Mission Control System Operations Engineer and remained in this position until 2018. Currently, Colin is working at EUMETSAT as a LEO Mission Control Systems Operations Engineer, starting in November 2018.

Colin Cramond's education history begins in 1998 when they enrolled in the University of St Andrews. Colin completed a four-year program and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics in 2002. Following this, in 2003, they attended Cranfield University and pursued a Master's degree in Astronautics and Space Engineering, which they completed in 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Colin Cramond also obtained certifications in German language fluency. Colin achieved an intermediate level of fluency in German, as assessed by Duolingo, in February 2016. Colin acquired this certification from the institution Duolingo.
