Giuseppe Longhitano has a strong background in engineering and has held various roles in multiple companies throughout their career. In 2004, they worked as a Telecommunications Engineer at Coimel reti. In 2007, they were a Software Engineer at SELEX Communications. From 2009 to 2012, they served as a System Engineer at Telespazio. In 2012, they joined GMV as a SW Engineer, later transitioning to the role of Software Engineer and finally becoming an IV&V Engineer until 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as an IV&V Engineer at GMV Insyen AG. Giuseppe then joined LSE Space GmbH in 2018 as an IV&V System Engineer and later became the IV&V System and OGS Technical Team Leader until 2020. Since 2020, they have worked at EUMETSAT, first as a Ground Segment Engineer for Future Copernicus Sentinel Missions and currently as a CO2M Ground Segment & IVV Engineer.
Giuseppe Longhitano began their education journey in 2001 at the Università di Catania, where they pursued a degree in Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications. Giuseppe completed their studies in 2008.
