Nabeel Durrani has extensive work experience in the field of ground segment system engineering and operations. Nabeel started their career in 2007 as an Assistant Manager at the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), where they were responsible for monitoring and controlling satellite systems and overseeing the design and installation of ground station equipment.

Over the years, Nabeel progressed to roles with increasing responsibilities, including Manager of Ground Station Operations and Manager of Ground Segment System Engineering. In these positions, they managed the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various ground station equipment and subsystems. Nabeel also contributed to the design, development, and implementation of ground segments for several satellites, such as the Pakistan Remote Sensing Satellite (PRSS) and the Pakistan Technical Evaluation Satellite (PakTES).

Currently, Nabeel works at EUMETSAT as a Copernicus Ground Stations Engineer, where they are involved in the day-to-day operations of ground station services. Their responsibilities include coordinating system and ground segment anomalies, maintaining operational documentation, and providing guidance for ground station operations. Nabeel also contributes their expertise to ground segment procurement activities and provides operational guidance for IV&V activities related to the Sentinel-6B satellite.

Nabeel Durrani pursued their education in a chronological manner. Nabeel first attended Mehran University of Engineering and Technology from 2003 to 2006. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they enrolled in Chalmers University of Technology, where they obtained a Master's degree in Communication Engineering.
