Sean Burns

Sean Burns has extensive work experience in the field of operations and services within the satellite industry. sean started their career at Serco in 1992 as an Operations Engineer, where they gained valuable experience in satellite operations. In 1995, they joined EUMETSAT as a Satellite Systems Operations Manager and successfully managed the operations of satellite systems until 2012. At EUMETSAT, they then took on the role of Head of Real Time Services and System Operations, where they oversaw the management of real-time services and system operations. Currently, Sean holds the position of Director of Operations and Services to Users at EUMETSAT, leading the organization in delivering exceptional operational services to its users.

Sean Burns completed their education at The Open University. From 1989 to 1992, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computing with a specialization in System Engineering. Following this, from 1998 to 2001, Sean obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. No specific field of study was mentioned for their MBA program.
