Verena Wisthaler

Verena Wisthaler serves as the Research Group Leader at Eurac Research since September 2008, overseeing the "Politics & Actors in Societal Conflicts" group and conducting research on immigrant integration at regional and local levels. Additionally, Verena teaches a BA seminar on "Migration, Mobility and Integration in the EU" at the University of Innsbruck and an Introduction to Political Science at Sciences Po, Campus Menton. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Researcher at the University of Neuchâtel from September 2017 to August 2020 and a postdoctoral research fellowship. Verena holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science and Government from the University of Leicester.
