Senior Scientist, Process Development at Eureka Therapeutics

Elizabeth Lotsof, PhD has a diverse work experience. Elizabeth is currently working as a Process Development Scientist at Eureka Therapeutics, Inc since October 2022.

Prior to that, they served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the David Laboratory at the University of California, Davis from September 2016 to December 2022. During their time there, they conducted various in vitro gel-based assays to establish differences in excision and binding by the DNA glycosylase NEIL1, discovered a new substrate for NEIL1, and evaluated the repair of oxidative DNA damage in mammalian cell lines. Elizabeth also co-wrote an NIH R01 grant and mentored undergraduate researchers and post-baccalaureate volunteers. Additionally, Elizabeth served as the Radiation Safety Officer for the laboratory.

Elizabeth also has experience working at Eureka Therapeutics, Inc as a Patient Outreach Associate from June 2021 to October 2021.

Before that, they worked at NorthShore University HealthSystem as a Research Assistant from September 2014 to June 2016, and as a Summer Research Intern from June 2014 to August 2014. Elizabeth assisted physicians with research projects involving data collection and project organization.

Elizabeth also served as a Peer Led Team Leader (Academic Mentor) at the Cornerstone: Center for Advanced Learning at Washington University in St. Louis from September 2011 to May 2014.

Lastly, they worked as a Research Summer Intern at NorthShore University HealthSystem from May 2013 to August 2013. Elizabeth assisted physicians with various research projects, including randomized controlled trials and retrospective chart reviews.

Elizabeth Lotsof, PhD began their education at Niles West High School, where they completed their high school education from 2006 to 2010. Following their graduation, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating in 2014. During their undergraduate studies, they also pursued a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry at the same institution. In 2016, they enrolled in the University of California, Davis, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. The field of study for their PhD program is not specified.
