Rui Costa

Rui Costa is currently the Operations Manager at Euro Jet Intercontinental Ltd. Rui has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, starting their career as an Operations Officer in the Portuguese Air Force. Rui then worked as a Crew Scheduler for Portugalia Airlines before joining NetJets Europe in 2001. At NetJets Europe, Rui held various positions including Scheduling Coordinator/Supervisor and Head of Scheduling. In their current role as Operations Manager at Euro Jet Intercontinental Ltd., Rui is responsible for spearheading the creation and optimization of 150+ daily flights and the schedule of over 1000 crew members from a multitude of nationalities, ensuring compliance with available slots, parking, permits, scheduled maintenance and FTL regulations. Rui is also responsible for ensuring compliance with crew FTLs, training and licencing requirements, and maximizing resources to ensure the efficiency and cost-efficiency of operations. Rui leads a team of 20 people, coordinating staffing, training and performance management. Rui also ensures strict alignment of all activities and services with established labour legislation and regulations, and delivers top level customer service through seamless execution of the operational plan.

Rui Costa completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at ISEL.
