William Hung

William Hung has extensive experience in various roles and industries. William started their career as a Reporter for China News in 1993 and then worked as a Taiwan Correspondent for Knight Ridder Financial News and Bloomberg LP. In 1996, they joined JIH SUN Securities Investment Consulting as an Analyst/Assistant Manager and later worked at Forwin Securities Limited as a Manager.

In 2002, William entered the pharmaceutical industry and joined Pfizer as a Senior Financial Auditor. William later took on roles as a Risk Assurance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, and Associated Finance Director. From 2010 to 2013, they served as Division Director at Pfizer.

In 2013, William became the General Manager of Zoetis Inc., where they led the largest animal healthcare service provider in Taiwan. William established and enhanced relationships with joint venture partners and industry stakeholders while leading sales, marketing, and support teams.

In 2017, William joined DSM as the General Manager. William exceeded revenue targets for two consecutive years, implemented a strategic plan to penetrate the Taiwan market, and successfully gained market share from competitors through customer mapping and understanding their needs.

Currently, William is the Managing Director of Eurofins DiscoverX Products China. William designed and executed a go-to-market strategy, achieving revenue targets and significant growth in the face of challenges, including the Shanghai COVID lockdown.

Throughout their career, William has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and sales expertise in various industries.

William Hung has a diverse education history that spans multiple fields and institutions. William started their educational journey in 1988 at Oberlin College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese and Neuroscience. William successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1992. Following this, in 2000, they joined the Thunderbird School of Global Management to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance, General. William dedicated two years to their graduate studies and graduated in 2002. In 2008, William participated in the Pfizer Advanced Marketing Leaders Program, and in 2011, they attended the Pfizer Senior Leaders Program.
