Jackie Weiss

Jackie Weiss, PhD, is currently serving as a Scientific Affairs Liaison at EUROIMMUN US since April 2023. Previously, Jackie held roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles from September 2015 to April 2023, where significant achievements included securing funding through the Jessamine K. Hilliard Neurobiology Graduate Student Grant, leading a research project on sleep deprivation effects in Drosophila, and mentoring undergraduate researchers. As a Teaching Assistant, Jackie facilitated neuroanatomy lectures and labs for over 100 undergraduates. Earlier research experience includes work at Dartmouth College as an Undergraduate Student Researcher, studying the effects of ethanol on neurodevelopment, and an internship at Bayer focusing on regulatory affairs. Jackie earned a PhD in Neuroscience from UCLA in May 2022 and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Dartmouth College in June 2015.
