Shayan Gheidi

Shayan Gheidi is an Associate Data Scientist at Euromonitor International since May 2022, specializing in the development and enhancement of machine learning models for product attribute prediction, internal web application creation for data labeling, and generating statistical reports on product availability and pricing. Prior to this role, Shayan held research positions at Simon Fraser University from September 2017 to April 2022, the University of Toronto from September 2016 to September 2017, Paul Scherrer Institut PSI in September 2015, and TRIUMF from 2013 to 2015. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Simon Fraser University, a Master of Science (MS) in Physics from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from The University of British Columbia.
