Alberto Bardelli

Alberto Bardelli is a prominent figure in the field of oncology, currently serving as Scientific Director at IFOM since April 2022 and as a Full Professor in the Oncology Department at Università degli Studi di Torino since October 2016. Bardelli has held the position of President of the European Association For Cancer Research since 2016 and has been the Director of Basic Research and Group Leader at Candiolo Cancer Institute IRCCS since October 2004, overseeing the Laboratory of Molecular Oncology. Bardelli's educational background includes a Postdoctoral fellowship in Cancer Genetics from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, a Board Certification in Clinical Pathology from the University of Torino, a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University College London, and a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Torino.
