Nataliia Svergun, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Hospital for Sick Children since March 2016 and serves as an Ambassador for the European Association For Cancer Research (EACR) since January 2013. In 2021, Nataliia participated in a Business Fundamentals Program (Mini MBA) offered by the Graduate Management Consulting Association (GMCA), where Nataliia achieved first place in a case competition after gaining insights into various aspects of the health care industry. Nataliia's research career began at the National Cancer Institute in Ukraine, where Nataliia held positions as a Researcher, Junior Researcher, and Laboratory Assistant from June 2007 to December 2015. Nataliia has also worked as a Visiting Research Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children in 2015. Educationally, Nataliia earned a PhD in Immunology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, following a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the same institution.
