Elie Raimond has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Elie began their career in 2006 as an intern at the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights. In 2006, they joined Arendt & Medernach as a Senior Associate before moving to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in 2016 as a Seconded Legal Counsel. From 2013 to 2017, Elie worked as Counsel at the European Investment Bank. In 2017, they joined the EBRD as Principal Counsel and was later promoted to Associate Director, Senior Counsel. Elie then served as the Acting Director Chief Counsel before assuming the role of Director Chief Counsel.
Elie Raimond has a diverse education history. Elie began by completing a Licence en droit in Law at the University of Montpellier from 2000-2003. Later, in 2011, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law at King's College London. During the same year, they also attended the EU Competition Law Summer School at IBC Legal. In 2007-2008, Elie Raimond attained their Avocat degree at the Luxembourg Bar. Elie then pursued a Master II degree in EU Litigation at the University of Luxembourg from 2005-2006. Prior to that, they completed a Master II degree in European law at the University of Montpellier from 2004-2005. Elie Raimond also expanded their knowledge by obtaining a Master I degree in Derecho publico from Universidad de Sevilla in 2003-2004. In 2020, they pursued further professional development by completing two courses, Negotiation Mastery, at Harvard Business School Online.
