Maksym Bugai

Maksym Bugai currently serves as the Postal Working Group Head and Co-chair of the Logistics Committee at the European Business Association since December 2017, while also working as Senior Legal Counsel for FedEx in the Eastern Europe Region since June 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Legal Counsel at TNT and a Lawyer at CMS Cameron McKenna, in addition to an academic internship at the Institute for Globalisation and International Regulation at the University of Maastricht, where research focused on Intellectual Property Law. Maksym Bugai has also served as Chief Expert in the European Integration and International Cooperation Division at the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine, overseeing legal research and collaborations related to Ukrainian IP legislation and international cooperation. Educational qualifications include Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees from Maastricht University, the University of Hertfordshire, and Yaroslav the Wise National Law Academy of Ukraine, with a specialization in Advanced Intellectual Property Law and International Commercial Law.
