Ana Dugic

Ana Dugic currently serves as the Lead of the Pancreas Outpatient Clinic and is involved in the Interdisciplinary Endoscopy Unit at Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg since February 2023. Additionally, Ana is active in the public affairs of UEG - United European Gastroenterology, serving on the Public Affairs Committee and as the Social Media & Web Editor for UEGJournal while also being a board member of the Young Talent Group since September 2021. In November 2023, Ana joined the Public Affairs Committee and Social Media Working Group of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Ana is part of the Quality Cancer Care & Inequalities Network Team at the European Cancer Organisation since February 2022 and has been a board member and part of the Summer School Organising Committee for Junge Gastroenterologie since June 2019. Ana holds a PhD candidacy in Pancreatology from Karolinska Institutet and has completed residency training in Gastroenterology at Heidelberg University. Previous experiences include a residency in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Klinikum Bayreuth GmbH and an early role as a bartender at Carnival Cruise Line.
