Maria Sandberg

Maria Sandberg serves as a Project Office Support Officer at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) since September 2018, providing crucial project management support, ensuring adherence to project methodologies, and handling project monitoring and reporting. Previously, Maria held roles as Administrative Officer and Administrative Assistant at ECDC, coordinating meetings for the Director’s Consultation Groups and supporting project management initiatives. Prior experience includes positions as a Student Coach at My Academy, a Trainee at North Sweden European Office, and a Trainee at Ale kommun, where project management and support in various capacities were key responsibilities. Maria holds a Master’s Degree in International Administration and Global Governance from the University of Gothenburg and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Affairs from Saint Petersburg State University.
