Esther de Lange

Esther de Lange is a seasoned political leader currently serving as Head of Cabinet for the European Commission since February 2024. Additionally, Esther de Lange has held the position of Vice President of the European People's Party since June 2018 and previously served as Vice President of the EPP Group in the European Parliament from June 2014 to April 2024. As a Member of the European Parliament representing CDA from April 2007 to April 2024, Esther de Lange led the CDA delegation within the EPP Group and was actively involved in key committees, including Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, and Economic and Monetary Affairs, as well as the delegation for relations with the People's Republic of China. Prior experience includes serving as a senior policy advisor in the European Parliament and working as an European Affairs Assistant. Esther de Lange holds a Master's degree in International Politics from Université libre de Bruxelles and a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, along with a certificate in Politics from Sciences Po Lyon.
