Martin Karim

Martin Karim is a seasoned legal and policy professional with extensive experience at the European Commission, currently serving as a Legal and Policy Officer in the Directorate-General for Justice (DG JUST) since June 2022. Previous roles include Legal Officer within DG GROW and Policy Officer within DG CNECT, as well as positions as a Blue Book Trainee in DG JUST and Legal Officer at the Transport Infrastructure Access Authority. Martin's early career involved paralegal positions at PRK Partners, NWD Legal, and TRAPLOVA - HAKR - KUBAT, alongside serving as Secretary General for ELSA Praha. Academically, Martin Karim holds a Master's in Economic Law from Sciences Po and a Doctor of Law degree from Charles University, complemented by exchange studies at Leiden University.
