Kirstie Lynn Dobbs is an accomplished academic and community engagement leader currently serving as the Director of Early College and Faculty Community Engagement Strategy at Merrimack College since August 2019. In this role, Kirstie oversees the Early College Program, collaborating with local high schools to support 150 students in their academic pursuits. Alongside this position, Kirstie has worked as a Special Assistant to the Vice-President of Enrollment, focusing on faculty and student programming for community impact. Additionally, Kirstie has held roles as a Research Consultant for the European Partnership for Democracy and as a Civic Engagement Consultant at the American Geophysical Union. Previous experience includes teaching at Loyola University Chicago and conducting research there and abroad. Kirstie holds a PhD in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago, specializing in Comparative Politics and International Relations, as well as a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and French from Butler University.
