Jean Imbert

Jean Imbert is a highly experienced researcher and academic with extensive expertise in biological sciences. Currently serving as Président of the Association des Anciens, Alumni et Amis de l'Inserm since February 2024, Jean Imbert has also held roles as an Expert-Evaluator at the European Research Executive Agency since June 1999 and as a Senior Volunteer Researcher at Inserm from April 2016 to December 2020. Jean Imbert's previous positions include Director of Research at Inserm from January 1995 to August 2015 and a Fogarty Visiting Fellow at the National Institutes of Health National Cancer Institute from January 1987 to June 1989. Jean Imbert's academic background includes multiple degrees in biological sciences from institutions such as Aix-Marseille University and Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, culminating in a Doctorat d'Etat in January 1986. Additionally, Jean Imbert served as a Visiting Professor at the University of California, Irvine in 2015.
