Sara Garcia

Sara Garcia is a Research Programme Officer at the European Research Executive Agency (REA) since 2019, specializing in the H2020 Marie Skłodowska Curie programme focused on Innovative Training Networks. Previously, Sara served as a Scientific/Technical Project Officer at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre from October 2012 to March 2019 and worked as a Project Engineer at Expertos Forestales Agrupados, S.L. from February 2010 to January 2012. Experience also includes a role as a Project Officer and Research Assistant at the Instituto Madrileño de Investigación y Desarrollo Rural, Agrario y Alimentario (IMIDRA) from February 2006 to January 2010 and as a Technical Assistant at Société Cimaj in 2005. Sara holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Technologies and Forestry Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master in General and Applied Hydrology from CEDEX. Additional educational credentials include a Licence Professionnelle STEr - SE in Renewable Energy Sciences and Technologies from Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier and a combined BSc+MSc in Environmental Technologies and Forestry Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
