Laurence Crombag

Endobronchial Ultrasound EBUS Certified Training Programme at European Respiratory Society

Laurence Crombag has been serving as the Vice Chair of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine and the Deputy Chair of Division 8 Outpatient Clinics at Amsterdam UMC since 2012. Additionally, Laurence holds the position of Chair of Quality Assessment for the Dutch Society of Physicians for Lung Diseases and Tuberculosis (NVALT) since 2019. Laurence is involved in the European Respiratory Society's Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) Certified Training Programme, which equips participants with essential skills for performing EBUS. Prior roles include working as a Lung Specialist at Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep from 2006 to 2012. Laurence obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with a focus on Endosonography for Lung Cancer Staging from the University of Amsterdam, and an MD from Maastricht University. Educational background also includes a degree from Stedelijk Gymnasium Nijmegen and the University of Amsterdam.
