Lazar Popovic

Lazar Popovic is a seasoned oncologist currently serving on the Practising Oncologists Working Group and the OncologyPRO Editorial Board of the ESMO - European Society for Medical Oncology since July 2021. As a Professor at the University of Novi Sad since December 2019, Lazar also holds the position of Editor for the Women Cancer Section of Frontiers in Oncology since April 2020. With extensive experience as an MD, PhD, internal medicine consultant specializing in medical oncology at the Oncology Institute of Vojvodina since November 2005, Lazar previously worked as an Assistant Professor at the same institution from December 2014 to December 2019. Lazar's educational background includes a degree from the Medical Faculty of Novi Sad (1998 - 2004) and a science and mathematics degree from Gymnasium "Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj" (1994 - 1998).
