Svenia Hilbig is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, sales consulting, and account management within the fintech and payments industry. Currently serving as a Senior Solution Sales Consultant and Senior Technical Key Account Manager at Unzer since October 2020, Svenia has contributed to the growth of a modular platform for international payment transactions. In January 2024, Svenia took on the role of Country Ambassador for Germany at the European Women Payments Network, advocating for diversity and inclusion in the industry. Prior to these positions, Svenia held senior project management roles at Wirecard and Mayr-Melnhof Packaging, and gained experience in sales operations at IHS Markit and administrative support at Steptoe & Johnson LLP. Svenia holds a Master of Science degree in Business Consulting & Digital Management from FOM University and a Bachelor of Laws in Wirtschaftsrecht from Hochschule Bielefeld.

EWPN is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to building a community for women working finance, cards, fintech & payments in Europe. As the first and only Pan-European community for women, EWPN strives to create more opportunities for women and minorities, as well as being a champion for a more diverse and inclusive industry for all. EWPN does this by organising local networking evenings, workshops, annual events, awards and research, which all are welcome to be involved in. EWPN is 100% run by non-paid volunteers, guaranteeing that 100% revenue goes to operations and programmes implementation that serve the community.
